The City Pet

With personalities as unique as ours, our pets have preferences and routines. With that in mind, our goal is to provide the highest level of care possible - a level of care which you would want from your own doctor. (ln fact, we think we can do better.)

Body, Mind & Spirit

At Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital, we may ask you many questions about your best friend's lifestyle, health history and personality.  By getting a better picture of your pet's daily life, we can provide a wholistic approach to veterinary care - together, we will care for your pet's body, mind and spirit.

Breeds

From purebreds to rescues to mutts and ferals, they are all family.

We are fortunate to have a team of veterinarians who have over 60 years of combined experience working with a wide variety of cats and dogs and who understand the importance of both nature and nurture in a pet's life.

Lifestyles

Our pets rely on us to keep them healthy and safe so that we have more fun times to share! With an understanding of our pets' lifestyles, we will customize a health plan to maximize a long, well-lived, healthy life.

For dogs, active lifestyles mean exciting activities, adventure and fun. Our doctors are very familiar with specific medical concerns which may arise from outdoor activities in various Bay Area locations.

Cats (being more sophisticated than most dogs) may want to either relax indoors or test out their instincts outside. Risk factors for cats vary depending on the lifestyle you choose for your cat and our doctors are ready to discuss various options with you.

Love

At Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital, our entire team values the relationship we build with you and your pet. We are part of the community you create which centers on your pet's health and happiness.

We are tremendously honored to be trusted to share in your pet's care.

Beyond treating symptoms and illnesses, we look forward to forging a long-lasting relationship with you, your pet and your family for years to come.

About Us

Veterinary Care for Your Best City Friend

Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital - Diamond Heights

Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital was established in 2009. The name "Seven Hills" was inspired by the beautiful landscape of San Francisco and the namesake refers to the historic hills of the city: Nob Hill, Russian Hill, Rincon Hill, Mount Sutro, Twin Peaks (north and south)  and Mount Davidson. We wanted our name reflect the affection we have for the entire city and its culture. We are centrally located in the Diamond Heights Shopping Center within close proximity of the Castro, Miraloma Park, Noe Valley and Glen Park neighborhoods of San Francisco. With nearby freeway access, we are surprisingly easy to reach from the SOMA/China Basin/Potrero and Downtown areas as well. The Avenues are also just a stone's throw away.

Our newly renovated hospital is a state-of-the-art veterinary facility providing extensive services including sophisticated medical and surgical services, detail oriented dental care, and comprehensive wellness exams and preventative care. Our diagnostic capabilities include radiology (x-rays and ultrasounds) and on site blood testing. We also provide behavioral consultations and nutritional counseling. Our on-site pharmacy facilitates prompt medical treatment. We are currently a team of 3 veterinarians, each with 20+ years of high quality experience in treating dogs and cats. The clinical team also includes six technicians and two full-time office coordinators running the office along side the hospital manager.

Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital proudly offers 30-minute appointments so you and your pet receive the attention you deserve in a relaxed atmosphere. Our convenient in-hospital store supplies you with the essentials for home pet care and an on-line appointment scheduling system make seeing us a breeze!   In addition to the general array of routine pet health services, Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital also provide microchip service and travel certificates for pets.

Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital is licensed under the California Veterinary Medical Board.
